In 1917 Portugal, three children believed they saw an apparition of the Virgin Mary, and their story spread far and wide. Some believed them, others thought it was an offense to Christianity. Now, that event serves as the backdrop for Fatima, a new drama based on the sightings. Goran Višnjić (E.R.,Timeless, The Boys) is one of the film’s stars, and he feels that the film provides the kind of hope and faith the world desperately needs these days.
