If you're new to the Goran fandom (or perhaps even if you are not), you might have seen the words "Goran Thursday" floating around once or twice a week. You might have thought to yourself... "what is this Goran Thursday thing that I keep seeing?" And why exactly does #TreeHuggers get hashtaged in social media posts about Goran Višnjić? What is up with this fandom? Well for starters, Tree Huggers is a name that I (BattleshipGarcy) coined during the summer of 2018 as the name for fans of Goran. Why? First, Goran is quite tall (6"4', 195cm). Tall like a tree. Second, the word "huggers" seems to be an appropriate term to describe fans since we all imagine it would be nice to give our favorite actor a hug one day. Therefore, Tree Huggers it is!

Each Thursday of every week, fans of Goran take to their favorite social media platforms to celebrate their love for Goran and his career. Tree Huggers share their favorite GIFs, photos, videos, whatnot, online with other fans, making sure to use the hashtags:

#GoranVišnjić
#GoranThursday
#TreeHuggers

Using these hashtags ensures that other fans can find what has been shared. Some fans even take part in watching their favorite episodes from any of Goran's TV series, or even watch one of his movies <--- while live tweeting/blogging.
